Scheduling & other Policies
1. On most days, the library media center is open to students before school from 7:15 a.m. to the beginning of first hour, and then again from 2:35 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Students may also visit during their lunch period, provided that classes have not reserved that time, and if students need to use computers, labs adjacent to the media center are also from from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
2. Students may check out and renew their library books. If their books are overdue, they may not renew their books or check out new library books.
3. That the library environment must be conducive to student learning, reading, and studying requires a calm and undisturbed environment: Toward that end, students will receive one warning for any behavior that interferes with other students. If required, students who continue disruptive behavior will be asked to leave the library media center.
4. If students have ideas about magazines or books that should be added to the collection, they are welcome to offer their ideas.
